In this Policy, all references to “you” or “your” or “individual” or "user" as applicable, will mean the person who has subscribed for or has been granted express permission to view and have access to the Content. Reference to “the Company” or “we” or “our” or “us” means Trasers.

For the purposes of this Policy, the term “Content” means and includes any and all forms of documentation, material and/ or information which is made available to you, or which you have access to, while you are logged into our portal, including but not limited to Trasers research reports, etc.

For your information, please note that our subscription model allows users to have access to the Content on our portal in the following manner:

Individual subscription . An individual can subscribe to access the Content (i) for either his/ her personal use (in so far as such use is within the accepted guidelines under this Policy); or (ii) for business use, in the ordinary course of his/ her job responsibility within their organization;

Corporate subscription . Companies and/ or organizations can subscribe to access the Content, and such access will be restricted to the specific number of users as agreed during subscription.

This Policy on the usage guidelines on the Content that is accessible on our portal applies to both the individual subscriber, as well as the companies and/ or organizations who subscribe to our portal. Companies and/ or organizations shall ensure that the users accessing the portal and the Content through the company-specific subscription shall abide by and remain compliant with the terms and conditions of this Policy. Irrespective of the category of subscription, in addition to being compliant with the terms of this Policy, each user shall also be bound by our Website terms of use and our Copyright Policy . However, terms and conditions, including but not limited to the restrictions and other limitations regarding the use of any of the products available on the Content, shall be as per the terms of the respective contracts executed by the user with us.


We are providing you with a limited usage license to access and use the Content, under the following conditions. As a limited licensed user, you may use the Content only in the following ways:

Downloading the Content . Based on the terms and conditions of the subscription availed by you, you may download any information that forms part of the Content, and that is made accessible to you on the portal. You expressly understand and acknowledge that the Company has granted only a personal and non-exclusive right to use the Content for the purposes of this Policy. You expressly understand and acknowledge that no part of any such information that you download will be used for any reason or purpose other than for your personal use. If, through a limited license given to your company or organization, you are given the right to access the Content on the portal, you will not use any part of the Content that is available to you, outside the scope of your engagement with your company or organization or for purposes for which your company or organization has availed such subscription. Neither you nor your organization may, without our prior written consent, use the Content nor any excerpt from the Content to promote your or your organizations’ products or services, or for any specific business purposes, such as providing the same as part of your annual reports. You consent that your use of any of our Content will be subject to you providing due credits and relevant accreditation in this regard, including providing details of the year of publication of such Content on the Platform. Under no circumstances you shall ever share or provide access to the Content or any part of the Content to a third-party or any other party, even if they are part of your company or organization (and/ or when the subscription is availed by you for your personal use), if the person is not authorized as per the terms of the subscription to access any of the Content on the portal.

You agree and understand that all the Content on the portal are protected by applicable laws, and belong to us, our licensors or third parties. No right, title or interest in any Content is transferred to you when you access or download any of our Content. The limited access granted to you does not include any resale or commercial use of the Content, any derivative use of the Content, or any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another user, or any use of data mining, robots or similar data gathering and extraction tools. You agree to remain compliant with our Copyright Policy  at all times, and further agree to maintain all copyright, trademark and other notices on the Content.

You may not copy, transmit, reproduce, publicly display, perform, distribute, alter, transmit or create derivative works of any Content or any portion of or excerpts from the Content in any fashion that is not authorized by us in writing or expressly permitted by us. You hereby agree to indemnify us, our officers, employees and directors, from and against all claims, suits, and damages based on any claim of copyright infringement or plagiarism or unauthorized use of the Content.

You will not frame or use framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) that belongs to us without our express written consent. You will not use any meta tags or any other ‘hidden text’ utilizing our names or trademarks or logos, without express consent thereof. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or limited subscription license granted by us to you.

Printing of Content . You may print any document or information forming part of the Content, for your personal use or in your job role, but not for sharing with any third-party outside your organization and even inside your organization, not to any person not authorized as per the terms of the subscription. You may share an excerpted or derivative version of the Content, but not the entire document and/ or information, so long as such sharing is (i) for limited internal use within your organization; (ii) in support of your job role, and (iii) adequate reference or credit of it being sourced from us is provided. For example, you may include a small excerpt of the Content (such as a few lines of text not to exceed five sentences, a paragraph, or a specific graphic) in an internal report or presentation (attributing us, as the source). You may also briefly summarize the Content in your own words for your project team or senior-level decision makers (attributing us, as the source). You agree and understand that you will ensure that such sharing and/ or printing:

(i) is not done on a systematic or routine basis (e.g., by a licensed user who consistently distributes a periodic summary or excerpt of the document or who leverages a company business process that allows non-users to routinely approach the licensed user to meet their research needs).

(ii) is limited to an internal audience only of no more than five people.

(iii) is not done with the intent or effect of avoiding the purchase of additional user licenses.

You agree and understand that you will not share any portion of the Content in either printed or electronic format with any third-party individual either internal or external to your organization. You will also not share any portion of the Content with any third-party groups either internal or external to your organization via e-mail, intranet posting, or other information storage and retrieval systems.

(c) Use of Content after the expiry of subscription . Once your subscription term has ended, you must adhere to the following rules:

(i) You must delete all soft copies of any portion of the Content documents from your internal system. Storing any part or form of our Content is prohibited.

(ii) You must destroy all printed copies of our Content documents.

(iii) You shall in no manner, without our prior written express consent, use the Content or any part of the Content, for any purpose, whatsoever, other than as expressly permitted under this Policy.

(d) Sharing Content outside your organization . You agree and understand that no portion of the Content that is accessible by you can be shared (i) outside your company; or (ii) via e-mail, internet posting, or other external information storage and retrieval systems. If your job role requires you to share any document forming part of the Content outside of your company or organization, you may, excerpt or reference with prior written approval from [email protected]  and in compliance with our Copyright Policy


As part of your subscription, you will receive a unique “username” and “password,” which is for your personal use only and may not be shared with any third-party, whether inside or outside your organization. In this regard, do note that in case of a corporate subscription, each of the authorized users will receive a separate/ unique “username” and “password.” There are two exceptions where your username and password may be reassigned to another within your organization (such exceptions being infrequent, and decided at our discretion):

(a) If your job responsibilities substantially change so that you no longer require access to the Content, and your company and/ or organization requests for a withdrawal of your access and re-assigning of the same to another user; or

(b) If you permanently leave your organization.

In case of (a) above, when your organization substitutes a subscriber, the new subscriber must be located in the same country as the original subscriber, and the organization shall, at our request, provide all relevant details of the new subscriber, if needed. In situations where your organization desires to assign this limited user license to a contractor/ sub-contractor:

(i) The contractor must be a full-time equivalent, meaning they have a company assigned email address, company business cards and function for all intents and purposes as a full-time employee (as opposed to a temporary contractor for a discrete term);

(ii) The organization must contractually agree to pass on to contractor this usage Policy and to be liable in the event of any misuse or non-compliance with this Policy;

(iii) The contractor must agree to only use the Content for your organization (i.e., the organization that has subscribed to the Portal);

(iv) In no instance, is it ever acceptable for a subscriber to share their username and password with the contractor; and

(v) Upon termination of the contractor’s service term with your organization, the company hereby undertakes to arrange to reassign the limited user license to another within the company as per the terms and conditions of this Policy.

In the event you or your company fails to correct the non–compliance, we reserve the right at our sole discretion to either terminate (or limit access to) our services or terminate our engagement (entered into either through subscription, or otherwise) in its entirety.
